What I learned about myself from 2017

I came, I saw, and I conquered.

2017 was of course not what I expected it to be, but it never is. Each year, we go into it thinking that we are going to be a brand new person coming out of it. When in reality we are the same people stuck in our fantasy. 2017 taught me that I am the same person, and probably forever will be. No new friends, no new person, no new me. Just an average 18 year with wild dreams and aspirations. I never was one for resolutions, just never saw the importance of them, but this year I actually made a few.

1) Be more confident

2) Don't give a hoot about what others say/think

3) Be me

I hope any other teenage girl out the suffering with low self esteem takes upon this challenge with me also! Let us conquer the world together!

Peace. :)
